Tennis

Have you considered taking up tennis to get some exercise or to meet new friends and have fun? Do you already play tennis and are looking for a club to join? If you are then you would be made very welcome at Rendezvous Tennis Club!

Club nights are Tuesday and Friday evenings at 7pm from mid-April to September and Thursday evening from September to March.

Our tennis courts are located in the grounds of Knockbreda Parish Church behind the Minor Hall, Purdy's Lane, Belfast.

Opening Day

14 tennis players gathered on the 9th April to enjoy our first normal opening tournament for a couple of years.

Michael and Lorraine organised the matches and after a closely contested final Michael and Lorraine emerged as winners (no coincidence at all !!). The worthy runners-up were Will and Sharon.

Later on, we were delighted that 23 members met at Rockmount Golf Club for a meal. While we waited for this, John kept our minds busy with a Bible Quiz. Our thanks go to Maureen who volunteered to organize the meal and liaise with the restaurant. Also, to Allan who very willingly compiled and ran our old favourite, Scattergories.
